Windows Server 2008 and Vista: Disable Fast User Switching
Start RegEdit.
Move to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Create a REG_DWORD entry called HideFastUserSwitching and set its value to 1
Alternatively, use Group Policy:
Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System
Policy = "Hide Entry Points for Fast User Switching"
Value = Enabled
